- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are pretty straightforward. I only add a travel fee for distances outside Knoxville and Anderson County. I do require a retainer fee to hold the date but that comes out of the total fee for the session and isn’t an added fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a consult call or zoom meeting where we discuss logistics, locations, outfit choices, and what the customer wants to get from their session. Since my style is documentary in nature, I try to get to know them a little so we can determine the best locations to best reflect their story and personality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of experience taking photos and learning new techniques and using various camera equipment. I have a master's degree in an unrelated field, but years of classwork in visual art in high school and some in college.
