- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved taking photos, bot because I'm a gearhead and also I've always been fascinated with strong visual content. My background in marketing and web design often put me in a place where I was doing a lot of product and commercial photography but I was afraid of portraiture because I didn't know how to interact with the subject or proper studio lighting. I decided to get serious about portraits in 2017, found some mentors and learned that I had found my passion. I love everything about what I do, I get to meet so many incredible people and capture the kind of images that I never dreamed possible.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choose a photographer that understands your needs. There are a lot of photographers that focus on their own vision of the image instead of representing the client in the way they want to be seen.
