- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge a client per square foot. A basic clean is .7 cents per square foot. A deep/sparkle clean is .10 cents per square foot. This way, it makes it easier on both myself and my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new customer first begins with a phone call. At this point, we are establishing communication and discussing the project they need done and some small details. This is to paint a image of the job. We schedule a time for me to come meet them at their home or place they're needing cleaned and go over the fine details and let me see exactly what I'll be working with. We agree upon a price and set up a schedule. I come at the scheduled day and time and each time I leave, I leave a checklist and/or hand written note detailing the work completed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a housekeeper for over 10 years with various companies and backgrounds. From residential, post construction, commercial to turn-key. I personally did not value any other companies values nor did I agree on the quality of work they saw acceptable. I focus and dedicate my time to each clients individual needs and strive to be sure my clients are 110% satisfied before I leave their home. Word of mouth is powerful. I want my name and business to be nothing short of excellence.
