- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There's really no complication, I charge a trip/diagnostic fee that covers my time to come see you and (if applicable) diagnose and quote. The most honest way of pricing is time+materials. This is the most fair pricing for us and the customer-nobody wins or loses like with bid work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I loved to fix things and as I got better at what I did I then loved to help people. I enjoy seeing happy people and building relationships.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do anything from changing a lightbulb to major system replacement picking up your morning newspaper on the way in and offering to take the trash on the way out! What I tell my clients is if they need something done call me and if I don't do it chances are I know someone who does and does the same caliber work I do.
