The experience was better than the last movers we used. They didn’t have any broken items unlike the last company we used. They even had a big safe that they made look like a piece of cake. Overall good move. Thanks guys. Definitely will recommend you guys!

The movers were punctual and did not waste any time getting started. They were very respectful and Stephen made sure everything was wrapped and padded before loading. He even double padded two of my most valuable items and made sure they were protected. I would recommend Appalachian Moving to anyone looking for an outstanding movers in the Tri-Cities area. Will use again when our daughter moves after graduating college

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $85.50 an hour for a two man with a four hour minimum for local move with each additional man adding $18 and then I flat rate any out of town jobs in which I will personally come give them an estimate before we get started.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an over the phone consultation in which I find out all the details of the job and work with them first hand at making a strategic plan of how the move will go and what it will cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 7 years experience in the moving industry and I was trained by my old boss who has over 15 years experience in the moving industry.
