What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make initial contact with the customer and go over the work needed to be performed. Inspect structural integrity where work needs to be done. Make up material lists with cost sheet. Estimate labor needed to complete work. Total the cost of materials and labor then go over the bid with the customer explaining what those costs include in writing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started off taking construction cost and estimation in college and then got into architectural design and engineering. Before doing design I became heavily involved with all the hands on aspects of commercial and residential construction at the advise of our instructor. It helped us to understand what we were creating on paper.
