- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer a standard price based on number of hours, day of week, and special requests. However, I am happy to customize a package for limited budgets, special needs, or multiple shooters. I do offer a discount for active duty military.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a short meeting or phone call with the bride and groom to get a feeling for the types of shots they want (fun, formal, casual, romantic, elegant, dramatic lighting, natural lighting, etc. I like to ask the bride for links to photos she likes on the Internet. I don't like to copy another photographer's poses but it can give me an idea of the types of shots are desired. I always followup with a call the week before the weddings and another the day before.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Having been involved in instructional technology for the last 20 years, I am quite advanced in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I am continually taking courses in photography, design, and image processing at Lynda.com. I am also a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and take advantage of many of their professional development resources.
