- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a general contractor prior to going into paint work. I got injured and was put on a 30 pound restriction from my doctor. He suggested I pick a different line of work. After looking at the subs I used and tried to us there was a few that I always had issues with. Sheet rockers, roofers and paint . Sheet rock was to heavy for my restrictions and so was roofing. So I chose painting I could carry it a gallon at a time and start small and build up from there. I knew I could shine if I was anything beer than what I had tried to deal with. Like Never returning my call, doing what I said I would do for the client, showing up on time if running behind call and let the client now, not being a drunk or drug addicted person. So I went with it and I've been Blessed and highly favored for over 16 years now! And still haven't lost my passion for it is a very rewarding living.
