FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are created and determined by market value, experience, and speedy delivery. Is your budget different? Contact me anyway. Maybe we can customize something to better fit you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with a quick 15-20 minute phone consult. I believe it is important for us to get to know each other first. We'll discuss about budget and package options that will work best for you. You'll get a contract and invoice that can easily be paid and signed online. If you're booking a wedding, you'll be brought into the MEA wedding family with planning guides and tips. After your shoot, you'll get an online gallery with your best moments, fully edited to share with friends and family online. We'll also start talking how to display your photos and turn them into keepsakes. I want to be your LIFE-tographer. Not just a one time photographer. The whole process gets pretty personal because I believe that personal photos are from the heart and fully show who the people are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been professionally shooting for 8 years. I have my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Memphis. I've photographed in just about every situation and have a complete plan for whatever comes our way. :) Other nerdy photo stuff: Along with that, I was also professionally trained and won several local and national competitions during my secondary education. During college I worked various freelance jobs, but mostly as a photographer's assistant and second shooter for weddings. We would shoot up to 24 weddings a year (half the year). I've shot somewhere between 50-85 weddings in Tennessee and Arkansas.
