I am most usually known to work every day of the week. I am available for in-gym training at 6075 Poplar in the Crescent Center - in east Memphis, TN. I also offer mobile in-home training, and virtual sessions on FaceTime or Zoom. The gym here isn’t really a loud music/club atmosphere. It’s more toned down and mellow in terms of music volume. All genres are played throughout the day. So, if a particular music type and a more loud volume is important, I’m probably not the trainer for your program.
I always aim to keep the body void of possible injury. From there we move to focus on necessary improvements that are needed to begin continual success in health, fitness and vibrancy of life.
Training since 2002 in multiple capacities, I find it important to block off everything else and focus on the work at hand when I’m in session. Progressing at the right pace is of vital importance. That is precisely the
best way to experience more of what health and physical fitness could best be.
I’ve had significant mentors from within this business and successful clients that were full of experienced knowledge that have helped me. With that, I’ve been given every opportunity to become great at this service while allowing continual growth as a professional.
Focus, persistence and patience are the pillars of achievement when training with me. We will still have fun in the process, but serious individuals with a handle on their schedule and those that are ready to commit are whom I’m interested in working with.
Fitness Training is enjoyable and still gratifying when challenges arise. With each client I am also given an opportunity to better my health, my physical fitness and enhance expertise of what this profession continually needs. Let’s look toward the improvements you desire to make and begin the process of accomplishment.
Success is Possible
Notes of Consideration:
•Consider strongly if preference is for in-gym training or if the training would be done at the client’s residence.
•Understand that trainers aren’t allowed to train at other gym’s they’re not employed at. As, that could be insurance liability for the business location that would potentially be used.
•If the client will be driving to the trainer consider the desired distance to drive and location of the gym the trainer works from. That can play a factor of multiple elements in the success of the training program.
•Allow time for the program from the trainer to work. A safe and healthy program is not rushed. Patience and persistence are the main ingredients for success.
•Purchase good sneakers that work well your feet. The right sneakers are important in injury prevention and promotion of correct recovery after workout sessions.
•Good socks and comfortable athletic clothing is important and supports reaching fitness goals.
•Get a clear understanding of the trainer’s philosophy of food and eating as it pertains to the specific program.
•Soreness is not an indication of the quality of the workout. It is only a result of activation of dormant muscles. So, don’t expect soreness or try to avoid it.
