We absolutely LOVED working with Shaina!! Our day wouldn’t have been the same without her, would 1000% recommend. She made it really easy to contact her when we had any questions and when we finally met for the shoot, she was so much fun. The turn around time for the sneak peek was also phenomenal and it was just a really great experience to work with her!!

Shaina met with us twice before our session to ease my jitters. She walked us thru the photo session process, took her time getting to know us and just became a fast friend. We just had our engagement session done, leading up to our big day ( which shaina will shoot ) and i could not be more happy with the photos! The experience was so fun, laid back and she made us feel like we were in a dreamy Rom com! I CANNOT speak more highly for her professionalism, candor and talent. and we are SO excited to see what she has in store for our wedding.

When i first found Shai Imagery I was overwhelmed at how much i loved the vibe of her work.I reached out on recommendation from a breastfeeding group and we planned a breastfeeding shoot immediately! I sent inspiration photos and when i arrived to my shoot she had exceeded expectations with matching the feel! I had no idea she would bring a prop (a beautiful white wooden chair) and incorporate my non nursing child so well. The photos in my gallery are some of my favorite photos Ive ever received. During the (very intimate) shoot i was made to feel incredibly comfortable and was able to be natural and she captured my nursing journey perfectly.

Shaina was wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I are not always comfortable in front of the camera but she did a great job of easing our nerves and let us be ourselves. She helped us create photos that didn’t seem so stiff and posed, but showed who we are. She was so great to communicate with and the whole process was seamless! I couldn’t recommend her more!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a mostly self taught photographer, learning from courses I’ve taken online from photographers I admire, and trainings tips ive spent hours researching online for years and continue to do daily.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started photography in my early twenties, roughly 12+ years ago. Back than I stuck to senior photos and family sessions. I put photography on the back burner for a long time until last year when being a new mom pushed me into finding something I could do along side my daughter & pour my heart into for myself. I instantly fell back into the groove, fell in love with my clients and have found my speciality in engagements/elopements and weddings
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my favorite shoots was a maternity/engagement shoot I shot in the rolling hills of my backyard. I sent the couple over my style guide and they came wearing dreamy outfits that just really created some beautiful creamy photos. We picked a golden hour sunset to shoot as well and everything just worked out like magic! You can see part of the album above in “Hannah & Briggs”
