- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer free estimates for every project. Pricing depends on the scope of work, materials, and specific needs of each customer. I personally evaluate each project, discuss the available options, and provide a clear, straightforward estimate before work begins. I believe in fair, competitive pricing, honest communication, and making sure my customers understand what they're paying for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project begins with a conversation about what you're looking to accomplish. I like to understand your ideas, needs, and expectations before scheduling a time to evaluate the space and provide a free estimate. Once we agree on the project details and pricing, we'll establish a timeline and discuss the next steps. As the owner of M & I Construction, I'm personally involved in the work from beginning to end and believe in keeping communication open throughout the process. My goal is to make the experience as straightforward and stress-free as possible while delivering quality workmanship you can feel confident about.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working in construction when I was just 15 years old, learning the trade through hands-on experience. Over the years, I've worked in both residential and commercial construction, developing extensive knowledge in flooring, tile installation, remodeling, and a wide range of construction techniques. Flooring and tile have become particular areas of expertise for me, and I've often been called upon to correct work that wasn't done properly the first time. My experience also includes bathroom and kitchen renovations, home additions, custom epoxy flooring, and other residential improvements. I continue to build on what I've learned with every project I take on.
