Introduction: As a photographer who is also a speech pathologist, I pay careful attention to the way people communicate. I work hard to make people comfortable when working with them and feel I can capture the perfect moments -- our faces and eyes tell such great stories. Having your picture taken can be uncomfortable -- I work to make it fun through laughter and conversation, to bring out the moments that capture you best. My favorite part of this work is when I am taking a particular picture or pictures and I think, "This is it, this is what they will want forever. This is that moment." I specialize in portraits, couples and engagement sessions, headshots, weddings, events, and family portraits. Given my other career as a speech pathologist, I am able to utilize strategies to facilitate successful photo sessions for individuals with disabilities, including developmental and intellectual disabilities, and I welcome the opportunity to do so. My mission as a photographer is to capture the best moments of all my clients, and I celebrate the diversity of the communities, families and individuals I have the opportunity to work with.
