ABOUT BOOKKEEPING SERVICES Celebelle provides bookkeeping to support the specific needs of your business, including recording transactions in Quickbooks Online, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll (as part of regular bookkeeping services), cash flow forecasting and management, customized excel reporting, billing, financial reports, and preparation of information to go to your accountant. We take a personalized approach to each client doing as much or as little work as needed. ​ The ideal bookkeeping clients for us are entrepreneurs and small businesses who want to transition from keeping their books themselves to outsourcing that job, or who have had a bookkeeper but are looking for a new one. Typically our clients operate mainly on cash basis accounting, are comfortable with having their books in Quickbooks Online, and who have a CPA available for end of year tax preparation and occasional consulting on outside-the-box accounting topics. Clients do not necessarily need to be in Nashville though it is nice to be able to have face-to-face contact when needed. p.s. We provide payroll services through Quickbooks Online as part of a regular bookkeeping relationship. We are not a direct payroll services provider.   • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    REGARDING BOOKKEEPING: I've been providing bookkeeping services for over 10 years and run my own business, which helps me to understand the unique needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses. In addition, I am an administrative specialist with over 20 years experience working hand-in-hand with accountants, board members, and staff to sift through and analyze data, keep things organized, and streamline processes as much as possible. I specialize in helping entrepreneurs and small business transition to an outsourced bookkeeper - moving from doing all the financial work themselves (e.g., invoicing, cash flow, payables, etc.) to being able to let go of that task and focus on what they do best. A number of our clients utilize both bookkeeping, administrative and creative services.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Prior to starting Celebelle, I spent the majority of my professional life as a C-Suite Executive Assistant and Administrative Manager for a family run businesses. I was fortunate to fall in with and work for a serial entrepreneur who owned a commercial paint company, 5 restaurants/bars, and a large parcel of real estate in the Riviera Maya in Mexico upon which he built an ecological subdivision. Working as his Administrative Manager for 13 years allowed me to hone my administrative skills across a broad range of industries as well as pick up a number of complementary skills such as graphic design, event planning, employee management, and bookkeeping. And, needless to say, the variety of tasks that fell on my plate on a daily basis perfectly prepared me to juggle the demands of my own business and to understand the needs of entrepreneurs and start-ups.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    REGARDING BOOKKEEPING: Our bookkeeping clients range in industry and need. We have very small firms with very simple needs - just sending monthly invoices and reconciling the bank statements at month end. We also have businesses with a larger volume of transactions who rely on us for cash flow forecasting and being on top of their day-to-day financial positions on a weekly basis. Many of our clients are entrepreneurs or non-profits. When they hired Celebelle, they had reached the point where they no longer had the time to do the bookkeeping themselves. By outsourcing that task to Celebelle, they are now able to focus on what they do best and grow their business.
