- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I majored in theater in college. I did makeup & hair for the plays, ballet, & musical performances. I did my internship in Itally in theater, & worked as the makeup artist, wardrobe stylist, & hair artist for the performances. I enjoyed & exceled in the behind the sceens aspect of the entertainment, beauty,& fashion industry. I love creating beauty and captureing it with photography. Weddings are my fovorite type of jobs to do. I enjoy being part of the most important day of a womans life. My team includes other makeup artists, hair stylists, & photographers. We can handel any size job, large or small, & deliver a quality experience to be charished for a life time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our company provides makeup and photography for everything from weddings to fashion shows... We travel to the location of your event & provide all necessary materials. We work closely with each client to insure a satisfying experience.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had the opportunity to work with a young bride to be who had extraordinarily long hair past her waist. She had choosen a few hair styles she wanted to try in our trial session to see if they would work with her length of hair. The styles she choose were able to be done with shorter hair, but not with the amount of hair she had, because there was so much extra which could not be included in the styles she choose. I created a style which implemented elements of the styles she liked, and gave her hair style a unique, and classy look she was very proud to walk down the isle in.
