Introduction: Hello Friends! My Name is Cris Ruiz, local handyman here in the Nashville area. I started my business, Madera Creative, during the pandemic to supplement income since the world shut down. What started as something I would do on the side to help friends with work around their house, turned into a full time gig for me. I have about 15 years of experience in the handyman business and what I love is that I get to bring to life back into my clients house and make it more a home. Madera Creative was hired to install and paint base molding and quarter-round in my home following a new wood floor installation. Chris and David did an excellent job that exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a finish carpenter, I highly recommend Madera Creative for the work.

Cris was great! He painted our fireplace and I wanted a very specific limewash finish. He was patient with my picky nature and got the fireplace perfect! Very friendly and responsive whenever I had a question prior to hiring him. We will definitely use again in the near future.

It was great working with Cris. He helped us with a built in library/TV unit, he provided a good estimate, and we liked that he was meticulous with details and cleaned after. It would not have looked this good if it was a pre fab.

Cris did an excellent job with trim, baseboards, and pocket door casing in my primary suite. I tasked him with incorporating the original door casing into the project and I’m very happy with the results. Would recommend Cris to anyone!
