Pendergraft Rhythm & Groove

Daniel Pendergraft is a graduate of Belmont University's Commercial Piano program (all types of popular music) with an emphasis in composition and arranging, although he also performs extensively. He studied jazz with Dr. Bruce Dudley and classical music with Dr. Robert Marler, the principal pianist of the Nashville Symphony. He has a great love for sharing his passion for music through giving lessons. He specializes in teaching rock, country, and jazz styles including swing, fusion, bossa nova, hip-hop, funk, motown, soul, etc. He will cater to any and all skill levels by focusing on what is most vital that you learn given your age and background experience. As well as teaching performance of piano, he has extensive knowledge in ear training and advanced music theory. He also has knowledge of popular music history and current musical trends which can be incorporated in his lessons. It's all about what interests you most!
