SESSION DETAILS
Basic Session~Family/Children Portraits:
A basic session can be customized to your needs for up to five people (within the same family.) Whether the occasion is to celebrate a new addition to the family, family portraits for your walls, this one to two hour session is designed just for your wants and needs. HB Photography shoots on location, at any park, venue or at your home.
Engagement Session:
There are few moments in life as beautiful as two people deciding their love is worth taking to the next step. Or getting that story captured by photos that tell the story of your fiancé proposing to you.
Whether part of a wedding package, or as a stand-alone package, when you book with us you can expect imagery that will be as stunning as it is expressive and memorable. We will spend time with each other because we want to learn about your passions, your interests, your relationship, how you met, and anything else that can be helpful towards creating a unique shooting experience.
You can expect more than just a few canned poses. Your final images should represent who you are as an individual, and ultimately who you are as a couple.
Any location of your choice or we can suggest a few places if you just don't know.
Bridal Session:
What's better than donning your finest in wedding apparel, frolicking throughout your favorite locations and letting HB capture those emotions that can only be found in your soon-to-be Mrs. status!
There is just something about donning your wedding day attire prior to your big day for an afternoon of glamour that never fails to send your heart into overdrive!
Being married, I think that more brides should do this fun session especially when you think about how much money you spent on your dress and accessories to only wear them for a few hours! So why not don your wedding day goods a few months early to capture that special pre-wedding glow.
HB will want to book this soon after your last fitting.
Trash The Dress:
A TTD session is basically a glamour photo-shoot! HB will come up with some fun and creative shots that we would Never ask you to do the day of your wedding. Wether it be you riding a horse, standing in the middle of a river, sitting in a field, we will get creative.... The More Creative The Better!!
Do you really trash your dress?? Of course not... well if you choose to then we will get more risky with it. TTD is just a fun session to do when you have more time than the day of your wedding or a situation you would not dare do on your wedding day.
Even if HB Photography didn't shoot your wedding we will absolutely do any session for you. Wether it is a bridal, engagement or TTD session we can add a little spice to your wedding collection even if we didn't cover the actual event. This is the perfect way to add a different style to your wedding photos and different out of the ordinary locations. Anyone can book a session with HB Photography!
Gender Reveal Session:
Gender reveals ranks up as one of the most fun type of photography sessions⦠not only do I get to surprise my clients with the news of a boy or girl, twins but I also get to capture that raw emotion before the camera.
Itâs a session that takes adequate planning time, yet the actual session is only a few minutes. Let HB join in on the fun creating a story for you and your partner! These are done at any location, 20 miles out of downtown Nashville will have an additional fee.
Maternity Session:
Being a mommy of 2 amazing babies, I know it's not always comfortable...the cramping, the bloating, awful swelling from head to toe and not feeling or looking so pretty; it's ok! It is my job as a photographer to make your feel good and look amazing for just about an hour.
The best time to schedule your session is around 28-34 weeks when your belly is nice and round. Since every pregnancy is different and every woman is different scheduling may vary. Some women carry small, gain little weight and may wish to book a session at 36-38 weeks. For women who are growing rapidly, you may wish to schedule around 28-32 weeks. The best is when your belly is nice and round and you are comfortable.
A phone consultation will be done the week of your session. You can bring items space: such as: jewelry, accessories, ultrasound pictures, hats etc. HB also provides props. For men we suggest simple and solid colors. Big brothers and sisters should be similar to Dad. Light and dark shirts are great to bring.
Maternity- Baby Packages:
A. Maternity Package~
Includes one maternity session and one newborn session.
B. Babyâs First Year Package~ Includes 4 session during babyâs first year. All four sessions must be completed within a 12 month period
C. Babyâs First Year Package Plus Maternity~
Includes 1 maternity session and 4 sessions during babyâs first year .
All four sessions for baby must be completed within a 12 month period.
Birth- Hospital/Home Birth Story:
Every birth has a story. It is a story that you will be telling for years. Using photography to tell a story is the best way to keep memories going on. There is something so beautiful about capturing the emotions, the feelings, and the progression of labor.
Working in Labor and Deliver as a nurse and working in surgery as a surgical first assistant before I made the change it makes me feel so good and comfortable being in that type of atmosphere. From the first exciting smiles and laughter to the concentration and intensity of active labor--there is a story. A LIFE CHANGING STORY!! Each character in the story may only see part of it as they travel through; the laboring. The woman soon the be a Mommy doesn't see the expressions on her family's faces, the family doesn't see each others reaction to the birth.
Each of these moments are so precious, and each is part of the story of your baby / babies arrival. Using photography to tell the story allows you to see the whole picture of your baby's birth, and each story is beautiful full of emotions and happiness!

Senior Portraits:
A studentâs final year in high school is an important part of his or her life. Itâs many years of hard work, determination and achievements.
Getting senior portraits taken is one of the best ways to capture this moment in time.
Itâs important that a senior is comfortable during this photo session, and at HB Photography we do as much as we can to make your senior portrait experience memorable. Fun!! Parents are welcome to join and watch! We encourage to bring whatever props you would want in your pictures; from school jacket, class ring, uniform etc.
Senior photos are all about creating an image that reflects the real âyouâ ! Even though you may have to have your yearbook photo taken by your schoolâs photographer, you can still come to HB for unique portraits that represent You!
Any location of your choice and if you don't have a favorite spot, we can pick a few for your session. We allow 2 locations with outfit changes at each location!!
Smash Cake Session:
Smash cake session are a very popular way to help celebrate a childâs 1st Birthday. Not only are they entertaining to look at in print, they are also a lot of fun to watch and photograph!
The session will revolve around the birthday child only, no family or sibling poses can or will be included. Two outfits are HIGHLY recommended for any given Smash Cake Session. We will start with portraits of the Birthday Child in the first outfit â usually the "keep clean outfit" as well as a head shots and other poses either in a chair, or with no props. This portion of the session moves quickly in order to keep the child happy and entertained going into the cake portion. The second outfit is one you don't mind getting messy!! Some clients just do a hat, tie, bow and a diaper cover! Sessions can take place in my home studio, any park or location.
We do offer Home Smash Cake Parties! This will be at your home or wherever you have booked for your child's birthday! You can see our pricing and information on the pricing tab.
For Home Smash Cake Celebrations I do allow family and friends to be in any picture; it's all up to you.
Boudoir Sessions:
A fantastic way for you to create some sexy, romantic images to share with someone special to take your partners breath away or just to keep for yourself. Some brides are choosing to create a little black book of their images for their groom. This gift is always very well received by their husbands to be, with many choosing to deliver the gift in person at the beginning of the honeymoon. Of course it would also make a perfect anniversary gift!
Boudoir photography can be more than just lingerie, old fashioned pin-ups; art, nude and swimsuit shoots provide alternatives. Poses and props are used to ensure that every woman feels and looks wonderful. We do a lot of laughing, it's a lot of fun that is very liberating.
When you book a session we will decide if you would like to use your own home, my studio or be part of a boudoir marathon at a local B & B.
Before the day choose your outfits, they neednât be expensive and remember less is more, even a white button down shirt and cute knickers can look great. It is a great excuse to get a new bra and knickers.
Mix & Match Session/ Package:
This is designed for anyone wanting pictures but just can't find the time in your schedule. With the M&M you can decide when you want to schedule and what type of session. Three sessions of your choice and they must be completed within a year from your booking.
Paw-some Pet Photography: Photographing pets takes on a deeper meaning when you can capture their character in a photo. HB likes to photograph your furry animals in their preferred spots or enjoying a much-loved pastime such as catching a frisbee, playing ball or snoozing on the porch.
HB will ask and find out what is unique about your furry animal and we will try to capture that uniqueness on camera.
Events and Weddings:
Please contact HBP, we will contact you within 24 hours. Since all events and weddings are different we want to make sure we have a package that fits your needs and budget.
