The emotion and experience that you put in a song is forever yours. I knew from a young age I would never be the best guitarist, drummer, or keyboardist, but I also knew I could offer something special through my writing
The feeling I get after completing a work that you know is great and being able to share that eventually with an audience. One of the best feelings in the world is having an audience sing along to your own song

I am a classically-trained pianist and have always had trouble with songwriting. Although I often composed technical instrumental stuff for my band I pretty much accepted that I would never be able to write lyrics or a catchy song on my own. Working with Tom opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for me. He taught me how to not only write great lyrics with a commanding melody/chords but to really reflect my soul in my work and create something truly unique. Tom's passion for music makes lessons fun and inspiring! And he's a great guitar teacher too! Would definitely recommend him to anyone regardless of knowledge level or age.
