Brianna did a wonderful job helping with our Great Pyrenees, Nandor. He's was a huge, goofy, scardy cat; whose fear was overwhelming physically. He attempted to drag us on walks, didn't listen, jumped on everyone that came in the house, and barked like crazy. She was able to determine that his low confidence encouraged the fearful behaviors. We started with simple confidence building techniques before we got into the big training, which helped him so much. But she's the kind trainer that was able to determine a plan specifically for him, not just going down check list schedule. She encouraged patience and didn't just "go through the lessons", we waited until one lesson was learned before adding more. He's much calmer, more confident, listens better (as best as a pyr can), and doesn't tackle people when they come into my house. We can actually go on walks with him calm and not attempting to choke himself. I was very happy with Brianna and High Country K9 and would recommend them for anyone who feels guilty and overwhelmed by having a problematic dog.

Details: 2 - 10 years old • Large (41 - 70 lbs) • Private lessons • Aggressive behavior modification • Leash pulling • My home, venue, etc.

We adopted two puppies (4 month and 5 month) from a rescue who unfortunately did not have the bandwidth to provide them with any training. When they entered our home we had to teach them everything: from walking on a leash, going potty outside, and trusting humans. In order to ensure we provided them the best opportunity for learning we hired High Country K9. We knew they’d be the right fit after talking with many trainers, because High Country K9 had experience working with small dogs and knew how to train using positive reinforcement. They customized the training to the size of our dogs, their personalities, and the goals and expectations we had for them. They have come so far based on the training they received! We could not have done this without High Country K9!

Details: 0 - 6 months old • Extra Small (1 - 15 lbs) • Board and train at a facility • Puppy training • Leash pulling • House training • Crate training • At the pro’s location • My home, venue, etc.

We love High Country K9 because we love its people! They are wonderful trainers, and communicate regularly and clearly with us even after our board and train to ensure our dog continues to develop and mature. Schroeder came to us as a street rescue, and he knew no commands, had no manners, and had little-to-no impulse control when we got him (but he was full of love and personality!). After working with Uriel, Brianna, and Nickie at HCK9, Schroeder has been able to sit, stay, place, leave it, come, and heel--to say we are impressed is an understatement! The care, continuity, and competence of HCK9's trainers can't be beat. We can't recommend them enough!

Brianna was excellent to work with. Our dog changed on lesson number one. I was skeptical at first especially at the price but it was more than worth it. My dogs anxiety is so much better and we have full control of her. I recommend Brianna at High country K9, to anyone that wants their dog to be properly trained.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are not your back of the newspaper dog training company! We offer fair pricing, same as cash financing and cash discounts!! All for quality training that includes a money back guarantee!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Brianna's passion for animals started at a young age. Raised around horses and dogs, she developed a deep understanding and appreciation of animal behaviors and interactions.  In pursuit of combining her love of dogs and passion for meeting new people, Brianna's career path became evident. Years later, she founded High Country K9 with the desire to offer dog-owners an elevated experience and personal approach to training.
