Introduction: I do not do photography for the financial gain of it. That part is great of course, but I do it because I love the art. I love knowing that I am capturing moments from peoples life and providing them with memories that will last forever. I love meeting people, assessing their personality, and then trying to capture that in a still moment.

Ashley Patrick did my long overdue family pictures. I had never had a family picture made with my children, and in laws and grandchildren so I knew to call someone I trusted that wouldn't charge me an astronomical price for things I didn't want. Ashley came to Jackson to take our pictures and they were wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. She is very professional and knows exactly how to get the affect that you want. At the same time she is very compassionate and caring. Her only concern at that moment was making me, her client, happy along with the quality of her pictures. Thank you Ashley, I've had tons of compliments on those pictures. It's about time for another one. !!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated. There is a set fee for 1 hour of service and a certain number of images (typically 5-6) on a disc. There is an online gallery which can be public or private with password protection. From this gallery you can purchase digital files or prints and other products.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! There are tons of courses offered online and I take every one I can! Youtube also offers a lot of videos on the many subjects of photography and I watch as many of those as possible.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had an eye for art and love it, but I can't draw to save my life. I am more of an abstract artist when it comes to painting, because no matter how it turns out, I can say it's what I was aiming for. Haha. Photography is one way in which I can make my visions come to life.
