Introduction: I teach guitar to people from ages 9 to adult. I have been doing this for 27 years, and I enjoy seeing people learn how to play not only the guitar, but also to develop new skills in music. It is very rewarding to be able to pass along something that they, in turn, can pass on to someone else, like family or friends, church groups, etc. It takes dedication and practice to become proficient at the guitar, but with a good practice schedule every week, it is amazing what one can accomplish in a short time, whether it be country, blues, old rock, major chords, power chords, bar chords, or chicken pickin.
