Introduction: I have been trained and certified by industry professionals in beauty, bridal, fashion, avant garde, and special effects makeup. I also have studied under a celebrity makeup artist in Nashville, assisting and learning from her while she did makeup for photo shoots and weddings. Finally, I have a wealth of experience being on set-- both as a makeup artist and an actress-- for photo shoots and filming. I know the way makeup looks on camera and how to adjust certain colors and products to make sure my clients look their very best and stay looking that way the entire day/night! I love the creativity makeup artistry brings, whether it's glam for a photoshoot or creating burns and bruises for a film. It fascinates me to see makeup transformations. Allison was wonderful to work with! She was professional, accommodating, talented and fun! She worked very hard to achieve the look I was going for and she nailed it! My bridesmaids and both my mother and mother-in-law were all exceedingly happy with her work. She came to us on my wedding day and did all of our makeup in the hotel room I wasn't using to get ready. She didn't charge an extra fee for travel and her total price was incredibly reasonable, especially for bridal makeup + 5 more. I would highly recommend her, the quality of her work was superb and she was a pleasure to work with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For individuals seeking makeup for a photoshoot, prom, special event, etc., my price starts at $80. This is a full face of top quality, pro-trusted products. There are additions for false lashes and airbrush, but it never exceeds $100. For bridal, I have various discount packages that include trial sessions, bridal party makeup, touch ups, and more. Just brides are $150-- this is a full face of airbrush makeup with false lash application. For film/TV I have half day and full day rates depending on the length and type of production.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know as much as I can about my new customers! What their typical makeup routine looks like, what they like to use, what look they want to go for, etc. I want to make sure that my customer is completely comfortable before any application starts, so that I can ensure that they will be satisfied once I am done with their makeup.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Academy of Make Up Arts in Nashville, Tennessee. I took their advanced makeup program, where I learned everything from beauty, to bridal, to avant garde, to special effects makeup. I also have years of experience on set, working both in front of and behind the camera, and with that the proper knowledge of makeup for film.
