FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since photography and videography is not licensed by the state, no continuing education is required. That doesn't mean we don't keep up with it though! We are constantly watching online, and sometimes attending, seminars or other industry-related events to stay abreast of the latest tips, tricks, and technology. It is very important as we, ourselves, have seen changes over the last 15 years that we were forced to adapt.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started photography during the summer of 1993. I drove with my family from Alabama to Alaska and used my father's 35mm Minolta camera. By taking hundreds of pictures of landscapes, I fell in love with photography. When I returned home, I looked over my pictures and wanted to make them better. So I took college classes on design and photography followed by new camera purchases. When some friends of mine got involved with video, we decided to form a business partnership and that was the start of Look Mom Videos.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My work covers portraiture, event photography/videography, and wedding photography/videography.
