I had been doing floral arranging as a hobby for a few years. With my children grown, I decided to start a wedding/event floral business. As an accountant, I know how important the budget can be, so I love working with budget brides. **PLEASE NOTE** Since I am an event only florist, I have to buy in bulk for each event. If you are just needing bouquets, I will not be cost effective for you.

I cannot say enough good things about JMJ Designs! Julie is so responsive, listened to what I wanted, and made my vision come to life. She took time out of her day to tour the venue beforehand, and gave fantastic recommendations and ideas for the best way to decorate. She made sure that we were getting the best bang for our buck, and never tried to get us to spend more than we needed to. Everything turned out better than I could have imagined. The day was absolutely beautiful, and we got so many compliments on our florals. I highly recommend!!

I loved the flowers I got from JMJ Designs. I am a party planner and needed some Sage and white arrangements for a baby shower. She did such an amazing job. People commented on them all day.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have clients send me pictures of exactly what they are wanting, so we are on the same page, then I would love to see the venue with them to ensure I understand their vision.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always hated the boring cookie cutter arrangements that some florists do. I decided to do my sons girlfriends prom flowers, then I got asked to do some other arrangements and fell in love with it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have lots of pictures of what you're wanting and ask if the florist can do this within your budget. Be flexible and get a clear picture of what your alternatives are if they can't. That helps eliminate surprises on wedding day.
