My daughter had private lessons in vocal music with Ms. Stephanie Derrick for almost a year. The experience was absolutely rewarding and far exceeded our expectations. The excellent instruction she received prepared her to get accepted into a performing arts academy! Ms. Stephanie is a well educated, accomplished and highly trained musician not to mention, very professional and personable. My daughter enjoyed going for her lessons as Ms. Stephanie always made it fun and not feel like work. I would highly recommend her teaching instruction to anyone looking to get a solid foundation in musical principles or advance to the next level in performing. $25.00 for each 30 minute lesson...
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give them a 15 minute consultation to see what there goals are as a piano student or a voice student. I identify what styles of music they want to play or sing, and on all 1st lessons for Voice, I evaluate the students voice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Music Education.. (Vocal Music Education) K thru 12.. Minor in Piano..
