Introduction: We started studying the effects of head injuries from automobile collisions and falls several years ago vs. individuals that did not claim a concussion or loss of consciousness. The results are very interesting. It is important to note that the number of head injuries is much greater than most people realize. Simply having a concussion from a collision can result in early onset Dementia. We don't advise anyone to settle a claim where they were knocked out, were unconscious or simply hit their head to resolve a claim without a thorough head scan by a skilled neurologist.
