After the sudden passing of a family member right before our photos were scheduled, Lois was very accommodating in rescheduling our pictures a couple of times until i was in a good headspace to do them. She suggested a great location & helped walk us through a wide variety of poses for our engagement shots, with a calm & caring demeanor. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are listed by job type. When you are officially ready to book, I ask that you make a deposit to save the date, this way we are both committed to the shoot! If anything should come up, we can totally reschedule. The deposit will be deducted from the total, which is due when I have your gallery ready for you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When someone contacts me for a shoot, I like to have them fill out the contact info on my website. This way we can start the process of booking and get a vision of what they want for their shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I find education to be a very important part of my business, I would go as far to say it's even more important than my gear. Education is what has helped me understand lighting and how to create art. I've always had an eye for it, but it wasn't until I understood it, that I was able to take my photography to the next level.
