- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are several ways in which we can work with our clients- hourly rate with a not to exceed limit, whole project contract pricing which is broken out into the typical design phases (schematic design into contract administration). We are open to discussing our pricing structure in coordination with our clients' budgetary needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial meeting and plan review- create a list of clients' goals and priorities along with desired budgets and timelines. Request additional information such as existing floor plans, reference of design intent photos, any existing furniture, equipment etc. Design proposal submittal based on clients feedback in initial meeting Request of financial retainer to begin project work Schematic Design / Programming phase- initial design concepts and presentations. Discuss design direction and any budget /code / timeline restrictions. Preliminary furniture and finish selections for design direction Design development phase- finalize design concepts and craft them into drawings, presentations, finish and furniture selections Contract Documentation- create final set of drawings and specifications for bidding and/or permitting process. Contract Administration- assist client in final bid selection, oversee construction and final finishing touches on interiors, project management of furniture, art and accessories Celebrate our clients' successful project!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes the Texas Board of Architecture requires 12 hours of Health, safety and welfare courses to stay current in our industry.
