Jesse was a stellar professional - friendly, respectful, and made sure to stay to address any concerns or questions I had. The price for a re-key of all exterior door locks (knob and deadbolt on each) after moving to a new home was super reasonable. Wow! Just wonderful. My tenant had an issue with the door handle and I didn't have the time to navigate a solution so I popped onto Tumbtack and posted the project. Within 5 minutes Jesse had responded and called ME to learn more and set up a time to head on over. Then he resolved the issue without an issue, in a timely and efficient manner. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a base rate of $99. The price can go up from there if the work requires, but to re-key six locks (that's often three exterior doors with two locks each) it is a flat rate of $99, this also covers 2 keys.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The end result is to provide personal safety and peace of mind. We will discuss all the steps needed to complete the work. Consultation comes with service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Texas Locksmith Association is a fantastic resource available to licensed workers. There is trade-specific (as with any trade) knowledge that is proven invaluable when it comes to doing quality work.
