The service I provide stands out because I know what it is like to be the client. Personally, I have fluctuated from being extremely underweight, to gaining unhealthy weight, to eventually learning to cut weight and tone through the help of other trainers, friends, and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). Being a NASM CPT and Nutritionist allow me to use my past experiences and educational credentials to help others achieve the goals they have set for themselves! Ultimately, it is my top priority to be your friend first and trainer second. Health and wellness is about learning to see yourself in the best way possible and it takes a good support system to achieve your goals. Whatever goals you have set out to achieve, I will give my all of my effort to help you get there.. Whether you are trying to gain weight, lose weight, improve strength, improve endurance, or even learn how to do a handstand/backflip...I do & teach it all. As an ex-collegiate athlete, an engineer, and a loyal friend I take pride in relating to a diverse crowd and trying to help them become better mentally, physically, and spiritually. Lastly, it is always about the PEOPLE. I love to meet new people, listen to their story and learn about who they are and what they are trying to achieve. We all have our own story to tell, and more importantly, we all deserve to feel confident in telling that story. It would be my absolute pleasure to help you tell yours!

I was definitely a newbie to workouts, and this year I wanted to build my shape. I sought the help of CJ and from meeting with him for my first time, I knew that I wanted to work with him. CJ is an amazing personal trainer, and also a great person. I had zero experience in weights workout, and he created a personalized training plan to help me move forward. After two months of working with him, I can already see a significant improvement in my strength, endurance and overall energy levels. The most important thing is I like going to gym now and enjoy the feeling after workouts. If you are looking for a trainer that personalizes your training and puts a lot of attention into every session, you've found him!

CJ is not only my trainer after the last 6 months that we have been associated but also we have become best friends. He is someone who will get to know you and your personal fitness goals. Once that is done, he invests time in getting to know how driven you are to get there and makes a realistic plan unlike other trainers/pros (no offence but most of them try and teach you what they did and how they succeeded - sorry, but fitness is not a one solution fits all regime). I was extremely impressed that he respected my work schedule and would also understand if there were situations when I could not make it for the scheduled session and we rescheduled. Given that I travel a lot for work, we communicated a lot and CJ helped me understand how I can work out even from my hotel room and made me understand ratios and nutrition. This guy is amazing and even if I had a tough day I would look forward to sweating it out in the gym with him or go work out outside (ya, he doesn't just believe in working out in the gym but also go running, working out etc in parks outside weather permitting). Once, I had an ankle injury during a soccer game after work and he never pushed me to train or take my sessions within the scheduled time period. So, he is a professional but doesn't just live by the rule book. Having said all of this, CJ, is extremely professional and punctual. He is also very realistic and straightforward and will go out of his way to ensure that at the end of the day you are getting more than your money's worth. He knows how to kick your butt too so if you need a trainer actually no if you need a best friend to go work out with and crush your fitness goals then sign up for sessions with CJ. P.S. I have lost 12 pounds in about the last 6 months in a healthy manner and gained muscle and developed stamina. Quantitative results; if you care for them :)

CJ is amazing! He made working out fun and always cared about us as people before clients. CJ shows up on time with great work outs and a positive attitude. He is an amazing trainer and I would recommend anyone to work with him!

When I landed my first job out of college I had gained close to 20 pounds and a noticeable gut. This was due to poor eating and very limited activity as I finally had money to indulge in drinking and any food my heart desired. After looking in the mirror one morning, I realized my life needed to change. I decided to find help and get my health back on track. "ThriveOn" helped me discover fun ways to exercise and gave me a greater appreciation of tracking my food intake. The routines opened my eyes to new ways to train rather than the typical lift heavy weights in the gym and watch every calorie. He personalized my plan to fit my lifestyle and helped make incremental diet changes so it was easier to maintain. I went from 167lbs to 155lbs with more muscle than I had back in college.
