As a manager of working bands, I find Doug to be an invaluable resource. He has a great eye and an understanding of what an artist needs from a set of photos, whether they be from a live or studio setting. Highest recommendations!Jan 23, 2015
Doug took a personal interest in my project. His ideas were great and the final product was much better than I could have ever hoped for. JohnApr 25, 2018Verified
I had a wonderful experience using Glaze. He delivered exactly what I requested on time. He made the entire process really easy for someone that simply had a rough idea/picture of what they wanted. Great artist. Would use again in a heartbeat.Dec 18, 2017VerifiedDoug LaRue's reply

Thank you Ron.
Doug helped me with the Art for my new album. I spent three years creating the album and had very high standards for the graphic design. Doug listened to what I wanted and added his own creative input for a product I am 100% satisfied with. I requested a few edits to the original design and he was more than happy to accommodate me. If you want to see the art, check out my album "Seasons" on iTunes. Thanks Doug!!Mar 17, 2015VerifiedDoug LaRue's reply
Thank you Jake!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Many factors can affect the final price of a project. It is best to have a detailed honest discussion about what is expected. Major factors are timeline, use rights, level of detail, how much design is required to achieve your goal and how interesting the project is!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a conversation with the client to find out exactly what they need and how long we have to work with. We may need to gather various elements of the project before we begin. Communication is key so we get to the final product quickly and effectively.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My credentials are a bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Environmental Design. I also have specialized training in illustration and painting from The Smithsonian Institute of Natural History in Washington DC. My mother was a gifted painter who instilled the creative spark of artistic talent in my heart.
