FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Real estate commissions are negotiable. Many new-home builders offer compensation to a buyer's agent, but the amount and terms vary by builder and community. We'll discuss representation and any potential costs upfront, so you'll know exactly what to expect before we begin.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick conversation about your budget, timeline, preferred areas, and what you're looking for in a new home. From there, I'll help you compare builders, communities, available homes, and current incentives. Once we narrow down your options, we'll tour together, compare the numbers, and I'll guide you through the contract, financing, inspections, walkthrough, and closing. Haven't visited a model home yet? Even better. Let's talk before you go so we can start with a game plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My primary focus is helping buyers navigate new construction and new-build homes throughout Central Texas, and I continually stay current on local builders, communities, builder processes, incentives, financing options, inspections, and the many decisions that come with purchasing a new home. I’m also a licensed Texas real estate agent and REALTOR® with professional designations that strengthen the expertise I bring to my clients, including Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Certified Military Residential Specialist, and Certified Disney Agent of Excellence. That combination of new construction experience, local market knowledge, and specialized training allows me to help buyers with more than simply finding a beautiful new home. I help them understand the whole picture and make informed decisions throughout the process.
