FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to roof replacements, estimating is done primarily by the square or square foot. 1 square is equal to 100 square foot. With the actual square footage of a roofing surface, we are able to calculate waste and rapidly prepare an estimate to replace almost any roofing system without even having to visit the location in person. We are often able to obtain the measurements of the roof(s) simply by purchasing online aerial measurement reports provided by Eagleview Technologies Inc. Within a few hours or up to 24 hours, we can remotely obtain measurements certified with 99% accuracy. For common roof repairs we are also often able to provide an estimate based simply on a photograph(s) provided by a client. Of course there are times when we must visit the site in order to provide an estimate. We are always willing to come out to a project location for a free estimate within our service area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At least once very 3 months management, supervisors, roofing crew members and field personnel undergo manufacturer provided hands-on training. We learn about new products and methods as well as revisit manufacturer specifications for installations. This is performed with the top 3 roofing materials manufacturing companies by which we are certified by each one. GAF Materials Corp., Owens Corning and Certainteed. We also take part in scheduled online updates and demonstrations issued by our manufacturing partners.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm a 3rd generation construction contractor. It just came natural and the tools & opportunities were readily available in my early teenage years.
