- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I recently completed Dev Bootcamp a nine week program to learn Ruby on Rails, and recently completed an advanced web development certificate. This is on top of the daily tips and tricks I learn online, and through my web developer community
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was back in college, and I kept having so many great ideas in my head. Unfortunately they were all digital focused, and thus I would always have to contract other workers for me. My senior year, I entered the business school compitition for my school. Although I got second overall, my experience with the developer was difficult at best. He didn't understand my vision for the application, and had trouble implementing my ideas. At that point I realized that if I needed something done, I needed to do it myself.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Most programmers are not anti-social people living in a basement. I enjoy bike riding, hanging out with friends, and going to Giants games!
