About

Over 20 years of experience in the teaching profession, an M.A. in Secondary Education/English, and Texas certification in English 6-12. I am also certified in Reading and Special Education with experience teaching beginning readers, struggling readers, English Language Learners, and dyslexic students. I especially enjoy being able to help students understand or learn something they have struggled with. Helping students "get it" or seeing them master a concept really makes teaching rewarding. Teaching students the skills need to grow and progress in their reading is extremely gratifying because it can change their lives.
