David-Anthony has been giving my 12 year-old daughter Mariah voice lessons for 5+ years. Mariah feels so very comfortable and confident with him. David- Anthony has really been there for Mariah and is willing to go above and beyond to nurture her abilities. He has an ability to reach children and guide them. He doesn't just teach Mariah to sing, but also how to accept praise, to present herself in a professional manner, to accept mistakes with grace and move on. Mariah's time with David-Anthony has been very important and precious to Mariah, to our family!

I have been taking voice lessons from David-Anthony for over 2 years. His ability to address what needs to be improved while showing me what I do well is exceptional. He has been very encouraging and his skills of explaining the details of singing and are superior. He is not only an excellent teacher but also a superb musician. When I first started taking lessons with David-Anthony, my confidence in my singing wasn't very strong. He has really helped to not only improve my singing, but also my confidence. I have also had the privilege of having him as a musical director on several theater productions.

My seven years old daughter started with Teacher Burger about a month ago. He is very experienced teacher, especially working with kids. He makes the class very fun and attractive to kids. The class is student oriented and tailored to her own pace. He sometime thinks on his toes and improvises. Somehow he could get the message across through fun activities. He is very patient and kind with the student too. My daughter likes the lessons. And she is making progress really quickly.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A great teacher can't teach something they don't have. Ask your teacher to play/sing for you. Find someone you can connect with on a personal level. Someone you feel comfortable with and that communicates clearly with you in a way you can understand.
