Introduction: I can make a difference in your home comfort wise without altering the appearance of your home. What types of customers have you worked with?
For homes it is about heat rejection and lowering the utility costs. Commercial properties can be for the same thing as well. Most store fronts have window film to reduce fading. I also install privacy films for bathrooms, sidelites, and other areas.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the person you are talking to have knowledge about glass and film to glass applications. With all the changes in building codes the past 12 years, the provider must identify the type of glass the film is to be applied. Also, there are instances where window film is not the right choice and they should be suggesting another remedy.. Providers should have a variety of films available. They need to listen to your needs and address them accordingly. Stay away from people from promoting just one film such as silver reflective. There is so much more products available for the professional installer such as bronze, dual reflective and ceramic based films.
