FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the item cost (if we're supplying), "degree of difficulty", artwork prep time and engraving time. We can make name badges, signs, labels and many other items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The more info you can provide when initially contacting us helps. Our engravers are computer controlled, similar to a printer (vs. hand engraving). Anything we can get on the screen can be engraved. Whether it will look good is a different story but that's where our expertise comes in. For example, engraving a photo on glass may not look good where on anodized aluminum, it can look just like a black&white print. Objects need to be mostly flat in the area to be engraved. We have 1000's of items made for engraving. We can engrave a 24x36" area (with some restrictions). We can engrave items bigger that that (like a canoe paddle blade) over a +/- 24x18" area. We can do jewelry only if it is mostly flat and larger than a dime. We can't do rings.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Corporations (awards), churches (awards, fundraisers), youth sports orgs (awards, fundraisers), manufacturers (a step in their process - cutting or marking), contractors (labeling)
