FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients so that their photo shoot reflects who they are. This includes a consultation discussing clothing choices and location, if applicable. We arrange on a time and date, invoice them, then meet them at the location. I spend the first ten minutes getting to know them (if not previously known). Then we get to work! I either tell clients how to stand and what to do or give them something to interact with each other. After the shoot I will contact you when I have a sneak peak of your shoot posted on my website. When photos are all edited I send a digital download link. Link has images that can be printed and same images just small and with a logo in corner that may be posted. Clients also have opportunity to purchase prints and or products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor in fine arts from James Madison Univeristy concentration in photography. I've also studied photography and digital design in Costa Rica.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started photographing in high school and didn't really think of pursing it as a career until my college roommate helped me submit my portfolio to the art program. After that I knew that's what I wanted to do!
