- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting rate is $1/min. for individual/private beginner-level lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After getting inquiry, I communicate with the student (or parent), answering any questions s/he might have. I ask his or her goal and previous experience in learning music as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had extensive training in both performance and teaching of music that led to my doctoral degree in piano performance that included a minor in music theory and have had taught students for 19 years both privately and at colleges. I also studied jazz at Berklee School of Music.
