I'm a bit of a control freak & was nervous about finding a DJ. I had seen countless DJs at parties & dances, and none ever impressed me with their music choices. I also worried about how to plan the wedding reception, 1st dance & cutting of the cake, etc. Dexter helped me feel at ease emailing me on a daily basis and allowing me to send him my own music list. He played all of the right music for the sit down dinner. My wedding party & I heard all of our favorite songs. Needless to say he the rest of the dance was absolutely spectacular. Out of all the people we hired for our wedding, Dexter was the most professional. He was the only one to contact & thank me days after the wedding. In my eyes that put him in a class above all those vendors you see lining up to be in local wedding fairs. There's no question that Dance' Til Dawn is the best out there!

Dance 'Til Dawn was the music dj we used at our daughter's wedding. We heard him at Whataburger field at one of the walks there and we were pleased with what we heard. We booked him a year in advanced. During the the year as we prepared for my daughter wedding I was working and to busy to pickup a phone, so I kept in touch with Dexter through email. He was very prompt in replying back. He asked for a list of music we wanted played at the event. He had all the songs and type of music we requested. He was even able to find the song my daughter wanted played for the bride and groom's dance. The week of the event I called Dexter to make sure everthing was in place. By this time he had already talked to the wedding planner at our venue and had everything inline. The day of the wedding we ran into Dexter at the elevator. He had all his gear and ready to go. We asked him if he needed anything. He said "Don't worry, I have taken care of what I need". It was nice not having to worry about where he was going to be setting up, if there were electric sockets, and anything else that went with setting up his gear. You will not be disappointed in his services. Thanks again Dexter. :)

Dance 'Til Dawn was the DJ for my wedding and was Amazing! My groom and I danced the entire night and the dance floor never seemed empty. I wanted a specific song for the Father-Daughter dance, and he immediately downloaded it for me to have on my special day. They played a variety of songs and even allowed the military men to serenade me with the "Top Gun" song. We had a blast!!!!

We used Dexter for our wedding July 23 at the Texas State Aquarium. He was excellent!!! We had only heard positive reviews of him so we had high expectations and he really even exceeded them. He was on top of everything and even coordinated with our wedding coordinator so we did not have to stress. He played the music we asked for and kept the music flowing with the mood. We would definitely recommend Dexter and his services!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're going to pay more than $400 for a DJ, keep reading. 1. Always ask your wedding professional for references. When you're going to pay hundreds of dollars for a service, you want to make sure the company you are hiring is reliable, on time, reputable, dresses properly and honest. 2. What is the biggest mistake you need to avoid when hiring a vendor for your wedding? Avoid hiring a vendor in the last minute without talking to them or knowing anything about them. Some people don't consider the DJ until there is very little money left in the budget. Why is this bad? A last minute DJ can either Make or Break your party. 3. "You Get What You Pay For" is not always true. Ask your DJ how many weddings/events they do in a month? Then ask for the names and locations of the events. This is a way to weed out untruthful DJ's. 4. Anybody can "Play Music" especially on a laptop. Make sure your DJ can entertain and read your crowd. Many DJ's will play "premixed" music they have downloaded or shared from others and will play the tracks throughout the night. This allows them to "not pay attention" to what's happening on the dance floor. 5. Make sure your DJ can cover ALL TYPES OF MUSIC. Start from the 50's to today's latest dance tracks. 6. How much time does your DJ take to setup? Will they be set up before your guests arrive or will they be setting up in front of your guests during dinner?
