Kelly did an amazing job, we loved her creativity when designing a collage wall for us. We plan to have her work on a number of other projects for us. Kelly is very professional, creative, and just a wonderful person to be around.Aug 5, 2018Verified
Kelly's very sweet, professional, and easy to work with. She works efficiently and provides honest feedback to our selections. She pays attention to the vision that we are trying to achieve and listens to our concerns. She lifts the stress of decorating the house and self-doubt from us and makes us enjoyed the building process again. She's also very flexible and responsive to our requests. I appreciate that Kelly pays attention to details and provides us with tips and tricks during the construction process. I would highly recommend her.Jan 16, 2018Verified
Kellie responded quickly and informed me she was very good with color, which is what I needed advise on. Once she met with me, it was just what I needed. She knows colors, how light reflection or absorption affects them and how they pull different colors from their surroundings. She listened to what I was wanting to achieve and helped me select the colors that best matched my color scheme.Dec 14, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Depending on what the client is looking for I like to either meet with them at their residence or if it's going to be a shorter project (like we're just picking paint colors) I like to have a phone interview first. Picking a designer is a very personal experience and I like to have a meeting or a conversation to make sure that personalities mesh and that everyone is on the same page before the client starts spending money. If this is a larger project we will meet at your residence first and then I will prepare a proposal for you to review. If you accept the terms then a retainer will be due for 50% of the initial design fee. If this is a one time meeting then the full payment will be due at the end of our meeting in either cash or credit/debit card.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where I got my Bachelor's in Fine Arts. I majored in Fashion Design with a specialization in Knitwear. I have a deep understanding in the different time periods and styles which I enjoy expressing in the refurbishment of furniture and textiles.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have excellent vision when it comes to color and am able to see the true tones. When I was in college people began hiring me to pick paint colors for their houses. It eventually grew to decorating one room then their entire homes.
