What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some of my services are based on hourly and other's are a fixed price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct an initial consultation with the client at a mutual location. From there I ask a series of questions and get to know the client more. I assess what their needs are based on our hour long consultation. I make suggestions on what services would best fit their needs. After they decide what services they would like to purchase I send them a contract and work with their schedule to complete their services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BBA in Marketing with a minor in fashion merchandising as well as an Image Consulting Certification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been helping people with their style since I can remember. I have helped friends, family, and strangers for a long time. After becoming an entrepreneur I quickly made friends with other business owners and started helping them as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with entrepreneurs, new mothers, young professionals, graduates, pageant contestants, and girls attending prom.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a closet evaluation and style analysis for a woman that lost a lot of weight. I really enjoyed helping her dress for her new body shape and type. It felt could to be a part of her health and wellness journey. I could tell that she was excited to clear out all of her old clothes and start over.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to make sure your coach or consultant is someone that you like and feel comfortable with. If you meet a coach/consultant and don't get a good vibe from them then you probably won't work well together. Make sure to find someone that you feel good about.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ask what's expected of you during the process.
