We scheduled Vea Tree Service to come out on Memorial Day to trim all of our trees and do some landscape cleanup with haul off. They came with 6 guys, spent an hour trimming my trees and then asked me for more money. I agreed if they would cut more branches for me. They agreed as well but said they needed a break. They then proceeded to tell me that the dump was closed so they could not haul anything away that day and would have to come back the next day to clean up all the trimmings and haul off. After that instead if trimming more branches as agreed they said they were leaving and would come back the next morning to finish the job. My husband and I rearranged our work schedules so we could be there. The next morning came and went and no response to texts or calls. At some point that morning when I was dropping off my kids to school they came to my house and picked up all their tools from my backyard without informing me. When I did get a hold of someone they said their trailer was broken and couldn't come. I was livid! Not only did they leave my lawn in a complete mess they didn't even have the decency to notify me they weren't coming to finish the job that day. Luckily we hadn't paid them yet so I threatened to call another service and not pay. Then Toutai shows up by himself that afternoon asking for his money. I refused until the job was complete. He then came back and borrowed my tools and bags to finish the clean up and haul off himself. I got no additional tree trimming so I reluctantly paid him the original agreed amount. Even then I feel ripped off and am extremely upset by the whole experience!
