FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard programs (Puppy, Basic, and Advanced) are all the same time frame (4 weeks) and the same price. I have specialized programs for dogs with fear, anxiety, and aggression that may have different pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact I prefer that my office speaks with the client to confirm that the program I recommended based on the information provided in Thumbtack is the correct program. At that point my office will gather some information from the client and email our paperwork. I do require a 50% deposit to hold a reservation as I take a limited number of dogs each month to work with. If the client would like to come out to my location and visit I encourage that as well. It is a quick and easy process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was the Sergeant in Charge of Aggression Training for the Department of Defense Dog Training School for 3 years while in the United States Air Force. Prior to that I was a K-9 Handler for the USAF for 6 1/2 years. I have been in business since 2005 in the civilian world and have worked with over 1400 dogs since opening my doors. Dog training is not a "business" that you learn in books. Dog training is a skill that you learn through experience.
