Introduction: I became a fund-raising consultant to help nonprofit organizations reach their full potential. In 2005, I founded my own small nonprofit organization without a single penny in the bank.
After eight years, the organization has raised over $1,500,000. I've accomplished this through a variety of small fund-raisers like pasta suppers, concert events, vendor events, etc., but what really made a difference was opening a thrift shop as an ongoing fund-raiser.
In addition, I was successful in cultivating corporate and private donors to support the mission of the nonprofit. I have been in the fund-raising arena since 1997. I understand what it is like to try to add one more thing to the plate of already overworked staff.
I'm here to provide information, guidance, support and hands-on experience, if needed, as part of my consultation.
