Introduction: The best way to learn something is to teach it. I embrace this idea in my approach to tutoring, where I have the student teach the material to me. I believe this is a more positive approach because it encourages the student by focusing on their strengths instead of their weaknesses, so they can have the confidence they need. This approach also results in better understanding of the material, because it makes the student think about not only 'how' when solving a problem, but also 'why'.

Before finding Brittany, our family had gone through six other tutors and tried a few different agencies. My daughter Maggie had not done well on her SAT and had struggled in math as well. Brittany worked with her over eight weeks to cover each section in depth and really helped her to understand the material. My daughter retook the test and her score improved 370 points! Brittany has so much experience and is so great at working with our daughter to get to the root of the problem. We recommended her to all of our friends with children in high school. If you need help with test prep for your students, she is the tutor for you!

Brittany worked with my daughter on the SAT, and it was a really great experience. Brittany was always punctual and professional, and she really, really understands the material on the test. With Brittany's help, my daughter increased her overall score by almost 500 points! Truly a great tutor, I will be recommending her to everyone I know!
