Introduction: Hello, I'm an attorney in Fort Worth, Texas, and have been practicing law for over 18 years, 12 years exclusively in family law. I have a passion for family law matters, and I believe in honesty, transparency and family-first results. I have experience with all ranges of family law issues, from simple, small property divisions in divorces, to complex child and property issues, child support enforcements, and modifications of underlying custody/possession issues. Family law cases are emotionally draining for the individuals going through the process - you need a professional who knows the ropes and will be both a buffer and a warrior when necessary.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I bill "straight" time for my cases. By that, I mean that I am not one of those attorneys who have a standard billing rate for my work. For instance, if we go to court for a hearing, I'm going to charge you for the time I was there, working on your case, whether that meant we were there 4 hours or 45 minutes. My paralegal follows the same practice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer to meet my clients in person initially, but I will do a phone consultation if that is the only way we can talk. I have had clients who lived out of town or state, but their case was here in Tarrant, Johson, or Parker counties.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's degree in History/pre-law concentration from University of Texas at Arlington, and my law degree is from Texas A&M University school of law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law). I have been honored by my peers to have been named on the Super Lawyer list for 5 years, and have been chosen a Top Attorney in Fort Worth for a number of years, as well. I am currently the President-Elect of the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association.
