I have communicated with 20+ pros on Thumbtack over the years, and this company is the only one that has been rude and unprofessional. They did a good job with a lawn mowing so I reached out to ask for a quote for additional landscaping work. When I asked clarifying questions, the person responded rudely and unprofessionally multiple times. Then, they stopped responding completely. Due to the lack of professionalism and later lack of responsiveness, I decided to cancel all future lawn mowing and work with another company instead. When I texted to request cancellation and asked for a reply to confirm, they texted back “sounds perfect” which comes off quite passive aggressive. It’s a shame because the owner of the company might be great, but the person they have hired to respond to texts is completely lacking in customer service skills. See attached screenshot for one example. I am giving some stars (2) because they did do a good job with the one time lawn mowing.
